About Us

Southeast Radiology, LTD (SERL)

Southeast Radiology’s roots are deep in the history of Delaware County and within radiology itself; it is one of the oldest continuing practices in the United States . The practice was begun shortly after World War One by Abraham Sharpe, M.D., whose interest in radiology was shaped by his war experience. Dr. Sharpe founded Sharpe Associates, which eventually became Southeast Radiology, Ltd. In 1983.

Since its inception, SERL has been committed to staying on the forefront of modern day radiology, maintaining up-to-date training on all of the latest imaging technologies and interpretations. All radiologists of SERL are board certified and received their training at nationally recognized academic institutions. Many have obtained added certification or training in various sub-specialties such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), women’s imaging & mammography, ultrasound, vascular imaging, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, interventional radiology/angiography, pediatrics or musculoskeletal imaging. This practice has long been associated with the Crozer-Keystone hospitals in Delaware County.
